These pants looked small when they cane in but the stretch was perfect, they are super warm and comfortable, and they fit amazing!The reason I gave them four and not five stars is because after about a month or two of wearing them, they have little tiny balls all over the back of the butt and thighs. I need like, a fabric shaver to get them all off. Very disappointing.They are VERY WARM. I live in Texas, but even on 30-40 degree days they kept my legs warm (the small amount of time I was outside anyway). I'm not sure how they would be in snow, but they are much warmer than jeans. They would probably even be great under a snow suit.I'm pear shaped, 5'4 & 141lbs and I got a medium, which was perfect. They had a high waist that was very snug and did an excellent job holding my stomach in and making me look slimmer, without being uncomfortable. If you are any bigger than me, I would definitely get a large. There was some extra length on the bottom, but very little (unlike what I get on 90% of leggings).
